Working From Home (WFH) Security Awareness

Many organizations worldwide had implemented work-from-home (WFH) policies. As a result, office data and documents may have to be transferred to and processed via employees’ home networks and personal devices, which are generally less secure than the professionally managed corporate networks and devices. Furthermore, the increase in transfer of data and documents (both electronically and physically) will increase the risk of data breach. This, coupled with the increasingly prevalent use of online conferencing software in a WFH environment, inevitably increases risks to data security and personal data privacy. Not only did this pose new challenges for organizations to secure their remote workforce, but it also put even greater burden on their employees and their households to do so safely and securely. This training will enable the employees to be the best line of defence and equip them with the right tools to combat persistent and evolving cybersecurity threats and risks.
